  • There has been no Shelf life change for the Knorrox products, the shelf life is still 18 months.

  • Yes, Knorrox soups, stock cubes and sauces & gravies remain Halaal and carries the Halal logo on pack.

  • Yes, all meat variants contains either chicken, beef or mutton which is clearly indicated in the ingredient list.

  • Because Knorrox has reduced the amount of Salt in the ingredients we have looked to other opportunities to bring you the best tasting meal. In order to provide a similar salt taste experience,  Potassium chloride, which is a healthier salt replacer, was now added to our soups and cubes. Potassium replaces sodium (salt) in the ingredient to add taste without increasing salt levels. Potassium is an essential nutrient that we all use for body functions. Other food sources of potassium are milk, fruit and vegetables, cereals and meat. 

  • Approx. 90% of the maize in South Africa is Genetically Modified not only to keep our pricing constant throughout the year but also ensure we have a consistent supply, any of our products with Maize Flour will therefore contain GM ingredients and will be labelled in the ingredient list on pack.
